Two men were arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting this past weekend.
Police arrested Israel Mendoza, 19, and John Flores, 20, Wednesday based on tips sent to police. The two are accused of opening fire on a home on Tarlton Street around 3 a.m. Sunday. Fortunately, no one in the house was injured.
Police say the two suspects are known gang members.
"The investigation is certainly continuing," said Kirk Stowers of the Corpus Christi Police Department. "Just because the arrests were made does not mean the investigation has concluded. we still need to have a successful prosecution in court."
Mendoza and Flores are both facing charges of deadly conduct.
