What started out as a simple three-car accident turned into a catfight between the driver and passenger of two of the vehicles.
"Oh just heated tempers, just people get that way sometimes in accidents, it's unfortunate," said Senior Officer Michael Goodman with the Corpus Christi Police Department.
It happened around midday Tuesday at the intersection of Everhart and Holly. Police said the driver of a silver Mustang made an illegal left-hand turn, causing the accident that led to the pushing and shoving match.
Two people were transported to the hospital to be checked out. The driver of the silver car was cited for making the illegal turn and causing the accident. The two women weren't charged for the scuffle.
