The City once again has a new assistant city manager on board to watch over business support services.
A father of three, 34-year old Wes Pierson from Allen, TX, near Dallas, where he was also an assistant city manager, says he's up to the challenge.
"I think Corpus Christi is on the cusp of doing some really great things and I wanted to be involved," Pierson said.
The position here had been filled on an interim basis by Toby Futrell, who was a former city manager in Austin. Despite receiving widespread praise for her work in Corpus Christi, Futrell says she came to Corpus Christi to retire, and now intends to do just that.
