Police Looking to Identify Credit Card Thief

The Corpus Christi police Department would like help from the public to identify and locate the individual responsible for credit card abuse.

An 18-year old woman reported her debit card stolen on Friday, March 30. The woman and her roommates hosted an event at their apartment for several friends. The woman discovered her card missing from her purse the next morning.

The woman's card was later used to purchase gasoline at the Stripes located at 5702 Kostoryz at the intersection of Holly Road. Corpus Christi Police Investigators obtained video of the man who used the card to purchase the fuel.

The man who used the stolen card is described as a white man who drove a red pickup truck. Anyone who has any information about this crime should call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS (8847) or submit a tip online at www.888TIPS.com. If the information leads to an arrest it could earn the caller a cash reward.
