A woman police call the "Tuesday-Thursday" robber is in jail held without bond because of a parole violation. A judge has also set a $50,000 bond in connection with Thursday's bank robbery.
Officers say Elizabeth Ann Hardin, 54, has committed 4 robberies including Thursday's heist at the Capital One Bank in Orange. Each of the robberies has happened on a Tuesday or at Thursday.
Hardin was taken into custody Thursday evening at a hotel in Orange.
Around 10:30 a.m. Thursday Orange Police responded to a robbery at the Capital One Bank located at 302 N. 5th Street. This is the bank near Lamar State College Orange.
Witnesses told police a woman robbed the bank and left on foot.
Captain Cliff Hargrave with the Orange Police Department told 12News HD, officers early in the investigation believed the robber was the same woman responsible for robberies at Red's Discount Liquor Store located at 1201 Green Ave in Orange, and the Honey Stop located at 1012 W. Park Street in Orange.
According to 12News HD file stories, the Clerk's in both previous robberies did not see a weapon, but they said she claimed to have one.
On June 19 officers obtained warrants for her arrest for the Liquor store robbery and the convenience store robbery.
Investigators earlier this month released surveillance video from the Honey Stop robbery. Officers say they were able to learn Hardin's identity shortly after the video was aired on television. (Follow this link to see the video.)

After a lengthy investigation, Officers of the Orange Police Department discovered the location of Elizabeth Hardin, the suspect in three robberies, including Capital One Bank in Orange. Hardin was found hiding at the Executive Inn, 4301 27th St. in Orange. She was taken into custody without incident.
