Dozens of small business owners stepped away from their work Thursday, to learn valuable information to keep their business a success.
The Governor's Small Business Forum, hosted by the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce, was held at the American Bank Center. The goal was to small businesses information and resources to aid them in finding employment, grants, tax credits and continuing education for their employees.
"As a small business, they have to spend a lot of time working their business, so it's not easy for all of them," said Angela Hanley of the Chamber of Commerce.
The Texas Workforce Commission played a big part in making sure Thursday's forum was a success.
