The 2012 Hurricane season is off to a rapid start with 2 named systems forming before the actual start official of the hurricane season. Another impressive system is entering the Gulf of Mexico tonight and is likely to be upgraded to Tropical Depression #4 by tomorrow.
Computer models have diverged tremendously on the eventual track of the system. The more favored solution has the system spinning in the Gulf through the weekend and making a westward track by Tuesday heading towards SE Texas.
Another solution has the system heading into Florida with a developing trough over the eastern seaboard.
All interests should monitor the system very carefully over the weekend for developments and stay with 12 News HD for the latest forecasts.
