Ground was broken on the new St. John Vianney Residence for Priests Friday, in a lot adjacent to the John Paul II High School on Kostoryz and Saratoga. Need for this type of housing is great, as the number of local priests who reach retirement age grows.
The $5.5 million project is funded by local Catholics, and the St. John Vianney Residence for Priests should be up and running by late next year.
