CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

The mother of a local rapper and singer known as "Lil' S" said the men who robbed her son's recording studio Thursday night are just "haters" who are trying to stop his dream, and she has a message for them.

According to police, the violent home invasion happened around 9:15 p.m. Thursday, on the 4600 block of Abner Street near Gollihar and Staples. The victim's mother went door to door the next day, asking neighbors if they witnessed anything.

"He was only just trying to be somebody, and all of you just messed up everything for him, and I just hope whoever did this to him will pay for what they did," Mary Longoria said. "And his whole world is done. It's over. That's all he's got to say about everything."

Police said two Hispanic males were armed when they forced their way into the home. One man was wearing a ski mask, and the other covered his face with clothing. The suspects reportedly forced the victims to empty their pockets and hand over their money and cell phones. The victims were then allegedly locked in the bathroom. One of the victims was pistol whipped.

The suspects burglarized the home by taking a couple of television sets, a laptop, keyboard, microphones and several baseball caps.

"I just hope they find these people who did it, and I know if you're looking at me I'm his mother, and I worked hard to get him what we had, and it's so hard now for me to try to work harder to get everything that he lost," Longoria said. "He lost everything."

The suspects are still on the loose. Anyone with information on this home invasion burglary is asked to call the Crimestoppers hotline at 361-888-8477.
