An early morning house fire has claimed the life of a man in his 80's.
The blaze broke out around 3:30 AM Saturday morning in the 6000 block of Pinehurst Drive.
When fire fighters arrived, neighbors told them a man in his 80's lived in the home. After a search inside, they found the man's body inside the living room. Officials say it appeared that he was trying to escape when he was overcome by the flames and smoke.
Neighbors identified the man as 81 year old Dick Milinar. Fire investigators are unable to pinpoint the exact cause, but say the fire started in the kitchen.
