It was a fierce competition on the cat walk Sunday as contestants of the Ms. Coastal Bend Senior Pageant vied for the crown.
The pageant was held at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi in the performing arts center Sunday afternoon. The competition involved an interview portion, as well as evening-gown and talent competitions. All of the participants had to present a statement that conveys her philosophy of life.
Contestants ranged from 61-77 years old, and the goal of the pageant was to motivate and encourage senior women to utilize their full potential.
The pageant winner will go on to compete at the Ms. Texas Senior Pageant, which will be held in August.
