A Corpus Christi fast food employee said he was robbed at gunpoint for $10 Tuesday morning while walking to work.
Officers responded to the area of McArdle and Staples around 8:30 a.m. The 19-year old victim, who asked not to be identified, said he was walking from the bus stop when a man approached him from behind, asked for the time and pulled a gun. The robber then ran off towards McArdle and Airline.
"I'm so shocked right now, but what gets me is the guy, he comes out of no where, out of thin air," the victim said. "What gets me, when he took off, I didn't see this guy anymore."
The 19-year old victim was uninjured.
Officers are looking for a man with a white beard. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, jeans and black tennis shoes. Call Crimestoppers at 888-8477 with any information.
