Friends, Strangers Donate Blood for Portland Victim - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

She remains in stable condition Wednesday night, after she and her girlfriend were shot in the head over the weekend in Portland.

Mary Kristene Chapa is the sole survivor of that double shooting. Her companion, Mollie Olgin, was killed.

On Wednesday night, officials at the Coastal Bend Blood Center said that numerous friends and even strangers have come forward to donate blood. Folks from Del Mar College and Kaplan College donated several pints in Chapa's name.

As of now, there have been no arrests made, and Texas Rangers are assisting in the investigation.
