Do you have a bunch of old cell phones just sitting around, taking up space? You probably can't use them anymore, so why not donate them to help our soldiers overseas?
The American Bank Center started collecting donations weeks ago. It began as a temporary project, but now it's here to stay. It's a program called Cell Phones for Soldiers.
"They purchase calling cards for troops overseas," said Samantha Koepp of the American Bank Center.
Boxes are placed in several spots at the American Bank Center. You can drop your old cell phones off during normal business hours.
