Everyone is invited to Come Out and Play at Cole Park as the City celebrates a big reopening of the popular Bayfront family hangout.
The park has recently undergone some major renovations, and Thursday night, those improvements will be on display.
There's actually a concert at the park's amphitheater starting at 7:30 p.m., followed by Mayor Joe Adame's official reopening of the park at around 8:15.
Improvements include upgrades to the amphitheater, improved rest rooms, better irrigation and new play equipment.
So, if you're looking for something to do Thursday night, pack up the kids, water and bug spray, and head out to Cole Park. It's bound to be a great time.
