UPDATE -  The victim has been identified as Victoria Massey.  Smith County JP, Judge Quincy Beavers, tells CBS 19 Massey is a secretary in his office.
 
TYLER (KYTX) - A 40 year old black woman was stabbed this morning in a downtown Tyler apartment area, police said.  It happened just after 8 a.m. at the Moore Grocery Lofts at 408 N. Broadway Ave.  Police say they received a call from the woman's son after he found her in the apartment building with multiple stab wounds all over her body. Officers say there was an altercation inside the apartment. 
 
  
The victim was being treated by EMS and TFD.  She was transported to Medical Center Hospital.  Her condition is listed as critical.  The victim's name is being withheld pending notification of other family members.

The only description given on the suspect is a B/M wearing a red shirt.
