
In observance of the Fourth of July holiday, many City of Corpus Christi offices, including the libraries and Municipal Court, will be closed Wednesday.
This applies to the City's Solid Waste Services, which will not be picking up garbage, recycling or brush on the holiday. Recycling centers located in HEB parking lots will also be closed. Garbage and recycling collection will take place Saturday, July 7, instead.
Some City Parks and Recreation facilities will remain open for Fourth of July. Closures for these facilities are as follows:
Tennis Centers:
HEB Tennis Center, open from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Al Kruse Tennis Center, open 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
Golf Courses:
Lozano Golf Center, open during regular hours
Oso Golf Course, open during regular hours
Public Pools:
Collier Pool, open 3-6 p.m.
Corpus Christi Natatorium, open 12-3 p.m.
Greenwood Pool, open noon-3 p.m.
HEB Pool, open 3:30-6:30 p.m.
West Guth Pool, open 3:30-6 p.m.
Joe Garza Pool, closed
Oso Pool, closed
All senior and recreation centers, the marina, cultural services and latchkey will also be closed.
The Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. for the holiday.
