ICE Agent in Stable Condition After Shooting

AREA 3 (Kiii News) - A federal agent who was shot twice while conducting surveillance in the Valley is out of surgery and in stable condition.

Agent Kelton Harrison with ICE Homeland Security Investigations, is being treated at a McAllen Hospital. The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. in the town of Hargill, TX, just north of Edinburg.

Investigators said there are multiple suspects, but so far none are in custody.
