Cape Romain Drug Raid Leads to Four Arrests

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Investigators swarmed a house on the 5000 block of Cape Romain Monday afternoon. Police said they seized methamphetamine, a small amount of heroine and two guns.

The four people inside the home were charged with possession of a controlled substance and taken to jail. 48-year old Sue Farenthold, sister of U.S. Rep. Blake Farenthold, owned the house.

According to jail records, she posted a $5,000 bond and was released Tuesday.

A known gang member, 38-year old Jesus Juarez, is still behind bars. He has been arrested at least three times before on drug charges, according to Nueces County Court records.

Michael Wayne, 49, is also being held on a $5,000 bond. He has been arrested at least six times for drug possession. 40-year old Johnny Reynolds was also charged for possession, along with failure to identify. Reynolds had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
