Thousands of people lined up for what is one of the most anticipated Fourth of July events on Wednesday night, the Big Bang fireworks show on the Bayfront.

A long-time tradition in the Coastal Bend, this year's show did not disappoint. In fact, many said it was more explosive and more impressive than years past.

In addition to the fireworks show, people also enjoyed a light show as the Harbor Bridge lights were choreographed to music. The neon colors lit up the night sky just before the fireworks took center stage.
