Three New Restaurants to be Built in City's Southside
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
There is going to be more development on Corpus Christi's Southside as a handful of new restaurants will be added to the area. One will be a brand new addition to the Coastal Bend.
A Peter Piper Pizza, Dairy Queen and a Panda Express, are set to be built near the Walmart on Saratoga.
"Our permit applications are up over probably the last three years," said Mark Van Vleck, interim director for development services. "They haven't caught up to before then for both residential and commercial, so we're seeing a slight upsurge in permit applications for new construction. So along those lines, things are looking really well."
