One Arrested, One Hospitalized After Hammer Attack - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

Reymundo Rivera, 46, was taken to jail and faces charges for aggravated assault after police say he attacked a man with a hammer underneath the overpass at Port and Tarleton. 

According to the victim, the fight started after Rivera demanded sex from his girlfriend.
The 26 year old victim was the one who originally had the hammer, police say, but Rivera was able to grab it out of his hands. The man's injuries were critical but not life-threatening.
