CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
An elderly driver lost control of his car and ran into a home around 9 p.m. Sunday.
Police said the 77-year old driver was traveling south on the Crosstown feeder road when he lost control and jumped a curb, hitting a "Do not enter" sign. The driver then over corrected and crossed back over the exit ramp, jumped another curb and hit a gate, a fence and then a home on 17th Street.
The driver was taken to Spohn Memorial Hospital with hip pain, and was also given a ticket. No one in the home was injured.
