A 50-year old man and his 77-year old mother were both assaulted by a man and women wielding a pipe on Saturday night.
The male victim ended up in a hospital after the assault. He said this isn't the first time the female assailant has beat someone up.
Now, the homeowners are scared for their life. Their home, on the 5800 block of Cain Street, near Staples and Holly, now has a sign placed on the front door; a sign that says they will not answer the door for strangers after dark.
According to the male victim, a man and woman showed up to their home on Saturday night, looking for his sister. An argument broke out, and that is when they began their assault, punching him and knocking him to the ground. The woman then beat him with a metal pipe.
The man's elderly mother called police and tried to help her son, but she was also hit across the chest by the woman with the pipe.
The male victim said the woman that hit him has a history of assaults.
The man went to the hospital and was treated and released for his injuries. He had major bruising all over his body. His mother went to get checked out Monday and is doing fine. All they can do now is hope that police put this pair behind bars.
The first suspect is described as a white female, 43-years old, standing 5-feet 10-inches and weighing about 130 pounds. The second suspect a white male, 25 to 50 years of age, standing 5-feet 6-inches and weighing about 230 pounds.
If you have any information on their whereabouts you are asked to contact the Corpus Christi Police Department.
