Truck Accident Stops Traffic on I-35 South

ARANSAS PASS (Kiii News) -

A pickup truck that police say was driving too fast on the on-ramp to I-35 South hydroplaned and struck a light pole in Aransas Pass Wednesday afternoon.

The truck knocked the pole over, and ended up driving down an embankment. Traffic was brought to a standstill until the truck could be towed away.

Police said the driver of the pickup truck was going too fast in the rain, and will be given a citation.
