Some of our best and brightest musicians from around the Coastal Bend are working to fine tune their musical skills this summer.
At the Del Mar College East Campus, the Viking Summer Band Camp is underway. Junior high and high school band members from the area are attending the camp to get ready for the coming school year.
Some are members of jazz ensemble groups, others honor and concert bands. Some are even part of mariachi and chamber music groups.
All of the students' hard work will be on display as they will be playing at concerts set for Thursday and Friday.
