Police found a 19-year old man hiding in a closet in at around 4 a.m. Wednesday, in an apartment complex off I-37 near McKinzie. The problem is, it wasn't his apartment.
Brandon Portillo was arrested by police after two women heard someone breaking into their Annaville apartment. They got out and called thee police, and when officers arrived, they found Portillo in the closet. They said he broke in through a window.
Police discovered several electronic items right outside the window. It turns out, Portillo is a neighbor.
He was charged with burglary, and police said he also has two outstanding warrants.
