Local Group Aims to Help Disabled Workers - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

Working with a disability can often be a challenge, but one group is looking to help.

They are called the Texas Rehab Action Network, or TRAN, and the local chapter held a training seminar Thursday, hoping to bring area employers up to date on changes to the Americans With Disabilities Act; changes like making sure the workplace has all the ramps and special devices that disabled employees need.

TRAN is one of the largest non-profit organizations of its kind. It has over 800 members in the state.
