The Nueces County Medical Society with be holding it's 47th annual Health Fair from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at the American Bank Center.
The event is free of charge, and that includes parking. Vendors will provide numerous health related services, including athletic physicals, school immunizations for CHIP and Medicaid students, vision and hearing screenings, blood pressure and blood sugar checks, cholesterol testing and much more health and safety information. There will also be giveaways, drawings and entertainment.
Stop by our KIII-TV booth, where you can meet Channel 3 News personalities Joe Gazin, Katia Uriarte, Kristin Diaz, Jessica James, Dan McReynolds, Chris Thomasson and Alan Holt. Be sure to register-to-win for prizes including our Grand prize Wii Game Console, Wii Fit Plus and extras! no purchase is necessary, but you must attend the Free Health Fair between 9 a.m.-2 p.m. to enter. Then, watch 3News First Edition Monday, July 30, between 6-7 a.m. for the Live drawing. Winners will be notified by an official station representative.
We will also be hosting a one-hour "Be S.A.F.E. From Diabetes" special broadcast Live from the American Bank Center from 11 a.m.-noon.
