The San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancers made an appearance at Academy Sports and Outdoors on S.P.I.D. Friday.
It was part of the Spurs Summer Caravan, which is spending Friday in Corpus Christi to give fans a chance to take pictures with championship rings and participate in interactive games to win tickets, jerseys, autographed memorabilia and other prizes.
Fans who donated a new or used sports ball for local youth centers received a free Spurs car flag to show their pride as they drive.
They were at Academy from noon-1 p.m., and will be at the Corpus Christi Hooks game at Whataburger Field from 5-8 p.m.
KIII-TV Channel 3 News will have more on the Spurs Summer Caravan at 6 p.m.
