Dona Park residents spoke out Friday night about a growing mess in their area, a mess that they say the City has neglected for weeks."They're late. They should have been here three weeks ago to pick it up," resident Ronnie Gregorczyk said. "That's what they said on TV."Everywhere you look in the refinery-row neighborhood, there are huge piles of brush left on many curbs. Some of those piles even include furniture.Residents said most of the brush came from the huge hail storm we experienced back in early May, and they are frustrated that they are paying for a city service they have not yet received."We would like to have the same services the areas of Ocean and Alameda have," resident Naomi Turner said. "If you ride over there, there is no brush in that area."The City said they are backed up on their brush pick-up duty, and that the Dona Park neighborhood is on their list.Channel 3 News will keep you updated on the situation.
