Drunk Driving Suspect Arrested After Hitting Tree

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

A suspected drunk driver is arrested in a hotel parking lot Friday afternoon after he crashed his car into a tree.

Witnesses said the man behind the wheel of a red sport utility vehicle was speeding as he circled the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn on the 6000 block of S.P.I.D., near Rodd Field Road. He made his rounds at least three times.

On the third go-around, he hit the tree.
