Body of missing boater found, 2 arrested

The Coast Guard has recovered the body of a missing boater and two people have been arrested in connection with a weekend Baytown boat wreck.

Police the two men fled the scene after hitting another boat manned by a 34-year-old man and a teenager. The teen survived. It took rescue workers hours to find the man's body.

The collision occurred in Roseland Park near Baytown.

Police say the men turned themselves in at some point Sunday evening.

The teen that was pulled from the water after the collision had minor facial injuries.

The body of the deceased man has been taken to the Jefferson County morgue for an autopsy.
