Two Arrested, Drugs Seized in Afternoon Raid

Occurred on 7/15/12, 1:44 pm   Search Warrant   337 Norton Street

The Corpus Christi Narcotics and Vice Investigation Division assisted by the SWAT Team served a search and arrest warrant at 337 Norton Street this afternoon.

Investigators seized the following narcotics from the residence:

Marijuana~ 36.85 ounces/2.30 lbs with a street value of $1,000
Powder Cocaine~36 grams with a street value of $1,800
Crack Cocaine~23.3 grams with a street value of $1,000
Black Tar Heroin~884.97 grams/31.6 ounces/1.98 lbs with a street value of $85,000
Hydrocodone Pills~110.4 grams with a street value of $700

Dwayne Dimas, 35, a known gang member and Sophia B. Dimas, 34, were both arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.  The charge is a 1st Degree Felony is punishable by up to 99 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Captain David Cook states, "The investigation is ongoing and there may be additional arrests before the investigation is concluded."
