Teens Arrested for Tagging Up Sacky Neighborhood

Posted: Updated:
CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Two boys in their teens are in juvenile lockup after an caller alerted police of their tagging activities.

Just after 11 p.m. Saturday, someone called the police and said they saw two young men using red spray paint to tag up the Sacky and Wharton Street area. The two were in an orange car.

An officer eventually spotted a car matching that description and pulled it over. The 15 and 16-year old boys inside were arrested for the graffiti and breaking the curfew.

Neighbors were happy to hear about the arrests, but said those kids aren't the only ones hitting their neighborhood.

The two boys also face a charge of being in possession of graffiti implements, which translates into the spray cans.
