A state of the art "techno gym" and rehab center in Kingsville is celebrating three years of making a difference in people's lives.
The Colston Family Physical Rehabilitation and Wellness Center is located at Christus Spohn Hospital Kleberg. The $3.1 million facility has the latest rehab and fitness equipment. Melissa Elliott, who was taking part in the celebration, said she has lost 140 pounds over the past two years.
"It has actually changed my life," Elliott said. "I knew I had to make a change in my life, so I started about two years ago, coming to the gym faithfully, everyday, and seeing the changes and the positive results. I just continued and it made me even more determined."
A center spokesperson said the center is the only one of its kind in that area, and is all about helping people stay healthy and fit.
