Woman Accused of Embezzling from Elderly Victim

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

A 33-year old woman is accused of ripping off a vulnerable victim, a senior citizen.

Perla Ibarra, who also goes by the name Perla Cavazos, was arrested Tuesday. She was accused of embezzling more than $84,000 from a previous employer, a 70-year old man.

Ibarra's bond is set at $20,000.
