CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
A driver was ticketed after slamming into a motorcycle around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, at the intersection of Leopard and Starlite.
Police said the driver of a small white car failed to yield the right of way while turning left, and ran straight into the motorcycle. The cyclist wasn't wearing a helmet, and was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
"Evidently, she didn't see him coming down road," said Sr. Officer Michael Goodman of the Corpus Christi Police Department. "She hit him. He didn't hit her. She actually hit the motorcycle."
