Courts Find Man Guilty of Beating Elderly Woman

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

A Nueces County jury has found a 35-year old man guilty of beating an elderly woman.

Lionel Guerrero was convicted of causing injury to an elderly person in connection with the vicious beating of 90-year old Jesusa Narvaez back in August of 2010.

During the trial, the prosecution played a police interview where Guerrero admitted he hit Narvaez. The punishment phase of Guerrero's trial began Wednesday afternoon.
