Gunman robs Beaumont store

A store clerk is uninjured following an armed robbery early Thursday morning.

Police say just after 5 a.m. a man pointed a gun at the clerk of the Fast Lane Convenience Store located at 195 I-10 N. The gunman said, "You know what time it is"

After taking an undetermined amount of cash the gunman ran away. Witnesses said he ran toward the Timberlake Apartments.

Beaumont police ask anyone with information about the robbery to call Beaumont Crime Stoppers at (409) 833-TIPS.
