Disturbance Call Leads to Arrest of Two Suspected Auto Burglars

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

An overnight disturbance led to the arrest of two busy auto burglars just after 3 a.m. Thursday.

Police were called out to a disturbance between two men and a woman living in the 5700 block of Tanglewood. In their investigation police discovered that the two men, 27-year old Jerry Contreras and 24-year old David Rangel, had been involved in several recent auto burglaries.

Both men were arrested and have been charged with various counts of burglary of a vehicle.
