CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii Sports) - It was a "H.A.R.D.-hitting" night Saturday as the Corpus Christi Brass Knuckle Brawlers of the Hurricane Alley Roller Derby knocked off the San Angelo Soul Sisters 170-83.
There was a good crowd on hand at the "HARD House" aka Saxet Hall to see the local roller derby ladies. Many of them say the tough and gritty look is just for the bouts, as many of them have more "normal" jobs during the day like "Pearl Snap", who's a grad student and a teacher.
