CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CNN) - James Holmes, the man accused in Friday's Aurora, Colorado, movie massacre faced a judge for the first time on Monday morning.
The 24-year old appeared somber, wearing a maroon jumpsuit, his hair dyed a bright orange and red. Holmes will be formally charged next Monday, July 30th. Until then, he will be held without bond.
Holmes is accused of opening fire in a crowded theater during a midnight screening of the new Batman movie, "The Dark Knight Rises." He could face first-degree murder charges in connection with the shootings that killed 12 and wounded 58.
