No injuries in Beaumont gas leak

Firefighters with the Beaumont Fire Department and crews from CenterPoint Energy were called to the McDonald's located in the 4500 block of Dowlen Road Tuesday morning due to a report of a natural gas leak.

The leak was reported just before 10 a.m. and the restaurant was evacuated.

Workers had the leak stopped shortly after 11 a.m.

No one was injured while the leak was being capped.
