City bus, pedestrian, other vehicles involved in accident - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

A Beaumont city bus was involved in a major accident Tuesday.  The accident involved three other cars and a pedestrian.

Police tell 12News HD a car was at the stop sign at the intersection of Wall Street and Orleans in downtown Beaumont around 3:13 P.M.  The city bus hit the car as it made a right onto Wall Street.

Two more cars on wall street were hit.  The bus also struck a pedestrian.

Officers say the pedestrian was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  No other injuries were reported.

The bus driver was given a ticket for making an improper turn.
