National Weather Service Hosts Annual Workshop

It was back to school, sort of, for some of our own on Tuesday.

The entire Kiii News weather team, Bill Vessey, Kristin Diaz and Alan Holt, all took part in a weather workshop hosted by the National Weather Service.

The workshop is hosted once a year to bring anyone in the weather field up to date on some interesting data. For example, one of Tuesday's workshop topics covered the state of the South Texas drought, and the potential impact of El Niño on this year's tropical season.
