Incarnate Word Academy's Virtual High School - KiiiTV3.com South Texas, Corpus Christi, Coastal Bend

Incarnate Word Academy announced the launch of a virtual high school program on Tuesday.

The program kicks off this fall, and allows students to enroll in courses not currently available at IWA.

"It's very important, because this will offer a wide array of classes for them to choose from," said Darla Montano, assistant principal of IWA.

Some of the classes offered in the virtual classroom include astronomy, creative writing, meteorology, criminology and psychology.
