CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

A man is stabbed in the eye with a screwdriver overnight.

Police said 27-year old Bradon Lee Owens crossed paths with the victim around 11 p.m. Wednesday. The two bumped into each other while walking on Staples Street.

A fight started, and that is when the victim was stabbed in the eye and face with a screwdriver.

Owens faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
