ALICE (Kiii News) -
A search warrant resulted in possibly six arrests, five men and one woman, after a collaborative effort between police, the Jim Well's County Sheriff's Department, DPS, Texas Rangers and even the FBI.
It is believed to be in connection with the recent gang violence that's erupted in that community over the last week, starting with a shootout on Sunday that left four individuals dead, including an alleged shooter.
Just after 4 p.m. Thursday, at a home on Escobar St., officials had their weapons drawn as they led people away in handcuffs. A couple of vehicles were also towed away.
It happened in the same location that 23-year old Andrew Garcia was arrested Tuesday. He was charged in Sunday's shooting.
Authorities say they will continue to crack down and patrol the streets at night.
