CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -
Bullets flew along Prescott Street late Thursday night. When Corpus Christi Police arrived to the scene around 9:30 p.m., they found eight shell casings in the roadway.
One of the bullets actually went through the glass window of the CASA of the Coastal Bend building.
Thursday is one of the nights the folks from CASA hold training sessions and two people were in the building at the time. Neither were hurt.
"At this point we are going to be asking the police department for additional rounds in our area when we have night time training. We are going to assume that this was random. We have no evidence to say otherwise," says Page Hall, Executive Director of CASA of the Coastal Bend.
Police have no suspect or vehicle descriptions and no motive. They will continue to investigate.
